I have spoken to a variety of Canadian Women’s Clubs in Canada, and to schools, service clubs, library meetings, writers’ groups, and senior citizens. Topics I’ve spoken about include the lighter side of Canada’s history, how to go from a wannabe writer to a published author, and how to improve your humour writing skills.

Radio and TV Guest

As one half of Canada’s Trivia Guys, I have appeared on dozens of private radio stations from the east coast to the west providing fun segments on various aspects of Canadiana. Among the CBC shows I’ve appeared on are Fresh Air, Metro Morning, Cross Country Checkup, and Here and Now. I was a regular on-air contributor for CBC’s Basic Black for a year.
